Resumen:
Esta investigación sobre “La Educación Intercultural Bilingüe y la Revitalización de la Cultura del Pueblo Kayambi, Estudio de Caso en el CECIB, 30 DE OCTUBRE de la Comunidad Santa Marianita, Parroquia de Cangahua, Cantón Cayambe, Provincia de Pichincha”, está realizada con la finalidad de establecer la realidad en la que se desarrolla la EIB en este establecimiento, tomando en cuenta las diferentes concepciones y formas de vida integral de la comunidad.
La Educación Intercultural Bilingüe a través del tiempo se ha venido insertando en las comunidades con más fuerza, siendo un derecho colectivo de los Pueblos y Nacionalidades indígenas, por lo que en la presente se ha utilizado investigación bibliográfica y entrevistas con fuentes primarias actoras del proceso educativo para responder a la siguiente pregunta ¿La Educación Intercultural Bilingüe revitaliza a la cultura del Pueblo Kayambi?, por lo cual esta interrogante será despejada dentro del proceso de planteamiento y desarrollo de la presente tesis.
En el primer capítulo definiremos el Origen de la EIB con énfasis en el territorio del Pueblo Kayambi, con sus diferentes variables como el desarrollo y avances del Sistema de Educación Intercultural Bilingüe, los diferentes procesos que atravesado, las aportaciones pedagógicas, como la Educación Intercultural Bilingüe asume los saberes y las sabidurías de los pueblos y nacionalidades, como integra al ritmo de vida comunitario, la importancia de los actores sociales y la recuperación del rol familiar.
En el segundo capítulo se abordara el tema de la cultura del Pueblo Kayambi y su organización política, social, su estructura organizativa, sus costumbres, cultura, tradiciones, festividades y se expondrá la historia y el proceso organizativo del CECIB “30 de Octubre”.
En el tercer capítulo, aplicaremos la técnica de la entrevista con la cual se pretende conocer los aportes y percepciones de los diferentes actores educativos del Centro Educativo Comunitario Intercultural Bilingüe “30 DE OCTUBRE” y así responder a la interrogante planteada.

The present work was made, in order to investigate what is happening in the area of mathematics, due to poor results in the SER 2008 tests nationwide. For which we inquire as is the learning of mathematics in the "Antonio de Alcedo" School with students in fifth and sixth year of EGB
Kids these years of basic are in ages of 10 to 11 years comprising to 5th and 6th year, taking into account that in this stage children are going through great physical changes and also their cognitive development, which has an influence on the knowledge and skills to perceive, think, understand and handled in reality.
In the development of children also influences genetics and environmental inheritances in where students are found, another factor of much importance is the self-esteem, motivation to form competent persons in all personal areas in turn develop ourselves in this mathematized world.
The action of teach and share knowledge between a group of people in this case the teaching mathematics, is of very important as it is located in all areas of our lives because it is a formal system, a tool and a social need which is presented within humanity, to bring the process teaching must be entered proposals for change, use of various means, methods, strategies and appropriate teaching material to topic, for that children can learn and modify their behavior with the functions mental that has origin in social life from simple biological processes that possesses the child at birth, when puts attention to respond external stimuli, these activities allow acquire new learnings for that these are meaningful should not be arbitrary (memorístico).
Within the learning is always assimilation, through which reinforce previous knowledge possessed by each child.
For this reason is important that children of fifth and sixth year of the "Antonio de Alcedo" Escuela learn mathematics.

With this process, teachers and students are allowed to improve their skills, abilities and values. Therefore to improve test scores in prior years.
